Before Jimmy and Judy headed home this morning, Bryce colored a picture for Jimmy.
Bryce's favorite color these days is yellow, so the picture of the (you guessed it) firefighter doesn't have as much red in it as it probably should, but I don't think Jimmy minded..

With Jimmy's visit this weekend, Bryce has decided he wants to be a firefighter when he grows up!
We were all so glad to get a chance to visit with Jimmy and Judy for a few days and the boys had a ball playing with their new-found playmates!

McKenna came over and showed the boys a few new tricks.
Mama's Cousin Eric is home from Iraq (HURRAY!) and he came to visit Nashville for a few days, as well. We had him over for some good old American Barbecue this afternoon with Uncle Wyatt and Aunt Frances...
The boys have really enjoyed visiting with Aunt Eileen (who's come down from New York this week) for the last few days...

We wrapped up our little Father's Day dinner as Aunt Patty helped Bryce play with the Constructables toy that Uncle Jack sent last month.
Aidan's friend, John, gave him his old scooter the other day and Aidan's been learning how to ride it.
The boys went for a spin around the block with Aunt Patty at Gramma and Grampa's house this afternoon.
We love our neighbors. Really, we do.
Over Memorial Day weekend, we put up a tent out on the cul-de-sac, brought out a couple of grills, blew up a few kiddie pools, set up a bunch of chairs, put some beer and juiceboxes on ice in a few coolers, and spent the whole day out visiting, eating good food, and watching the kids play, and play, and play!
