Playing "Garbage Truck"

Of course, they've been getting up to making some big messes, too!

And speaking of costumes

While we're on the topic of dressing up, Bryce and Maddy (from across the street) have been really getting into the spirit the last few weeks!

Fourth of July Part 1

Our Fourth of July this year came in two phases.
Phase I: an afternoon picnic (once it got cool enough for anyone to set foot outside), complete with slip-n-slide, with the neighbors..
Nothing says July 4 like a Nathan's Hot Dog!

Blaine and Aidan on the slip-n-slide..
Aidan gets ready for another run on the slip-n-slide..
Big splash!
Blaine..
Maddie..
The babies (Blaine's brother, Drake and Maddie's sister, Riley)on the lawn..
Have a popsicle and a smile..

Happy Fourth of July!

More Finally: Memorial Day Barbecue

We love our neighbors. Really, we do.
Over Memorial Day weekend, we put up a tent out on the cul-de-sac, brought out a couple of grills, blew up a few kiddie pools, set up a bunch of chairs, put some beer and juiceboxes on ice in a few coolers, and spent the whole day out visiting, eating good food, and watching the kids play, and play, and play!
