Updates, updates!
We've now updated thru September 21, 2008, Grampa's 80th Birthday party!.. go scroll down and have a look at what we've added!
Also, you'll notice we've finally updated the title of the blog to accurately reflect the *two* distinct childhood voices in our house. No change to the web address or anything so no need to update the bookmarks or RSS subscriptions.
It's a New Year and we've got some resolutions around here at SleepyDad HQ-- first of them being that we're going to catch up this blog!
In case you were wondering, there has actually been lots happening around here, but I've just been doing a terrible job of keeping up with updates about all of it for close to six months now..
I'll do it chronologically with back-dated postings so keep your eyes open for new entries going all the way back to the summer time 2008-- starting with pictures (finally) of our summer trip up to the Smoky Mountains.

Today, the boys and I brought Gramma downtown to watch Aunt Patty run in the Country Music Half Marathon.. the boys were really good at 'helping' Gramma to navigate the streets downtown and find a good spot along the course to watch for Patty.
We setup our chairs just outside LP Field (where the Titans play) in the last 1/2 mile or so of the course.
Patty spotted us and came over to give the boys each a big high-five.
After the race, we were able to find Patty in the 'Family Reunion' area and take a couple of pictures. Aidan was VERY proud to hold Patty's medal.

Yes, okay, I know.. It's been ages since the last update..
So let me catch you up on what's been happening the last month or so.
February can largely be summed up with the following:
Flu!
For what seemed like, well, a month one or another of us in the house was laid low by some form of the flu. So while the weather was cold and ugly (and a little snowy, even) outside, we holed up in the house and tried our best to get (and stay) well.
But we did take a few pictures along the way.. so here's a look at what we've been up to:
Aidan and Bryce have been playing lots of WebKinz on the computer...
Bryce has been doing a little art..
We got a little dusting of snow (2/13/08)
and of course we celebrated Valentine's...
...with Transformers!
