but Notre Dame plays Penn State today... so I've just got to go back to the last time the Irish played the Nittany Lions...
Bettis, Brooks, Mirer, Bobby Taylor, Irv Smith, and Craig Hentrich (... and a really gutsy last-second call by Lou Holtz..
Remember the "Snow Bowl".. and the days when coaches needed 'Cable Caddies' so they could stalk the sidelines with the headset on..

Thanks for not gloating this weekend, that must have taken some restraint. Interesting pre-game section from the State College local paper, it features a ND player (http://newspaperads.centredaily.com/SS/Page.aspx?secid=22841&pagenum=1). Apparently, there was no media access to PSU players the week before the game (http://blogs.centredaily.com/happy_valley/2006/09/a_matter_of_acc.html). Maybe some bad mojo : )
Yeah, Brady is getting a lot of national publicity-- people all talking about him for the Heisman.
